We are pleased to share that the activities of Amir Hinata and the Aikimura project have been featured in The Mainichi Shimbun.
The article introduces Amir’s encounter with Aikido, his current activities, and the vision behind “Aikimura,” a place he hopes to create in the future.
Since childhood, I have been deeply interested in questions about the universe, life, and where we come from and where we are going.
In the midst of that search, I encountered Aikido.
Aikido is not simply a martial art. It is also a place to learn how to relate to others, how to connect with nature, and how to observe oneself.
As mentioned in the article, what I am currently working toward is the creation of a place called “Aikimura” in the natural environment of Hokkaido.
It is not a place for achieving something in the conventional sense, but rather a place where people can deeply observe themselves through nature, the body, and dialogue.
In modern society, information and efficiency are often prioritized, leaving little time or space to truly face ourselves.
That is why I feel there is a need for a place where people and nature, body and consciousness, can reconnect.
I am truly grateful that our activities have been introduced in this way, and I would also like to express my sincere appreciation for the many connections and support we have received.
The Aikimura project has only just begun.
We will continue to move forward step by step, aiming to create a place where each person can observe and accept themselves as they truly are.
We would be grateful for your continued warm support.
